How did we get inspired?
Dasharatha Memorial Foundation is a trust established in the memory of three of our beloved family members – Sri Swayampakala Dasharatha Ramaiah, Smt. Swayampakala Kamalamma and Chiranjeevi Swayampakala Dasharatha Hari Krishna, all of whose sudden and untimely demise has left us with shock and intense grief.
Sri. Late Dasharatha Ramaiah and Smt. Late Kamalamma always had a brighter vision for life. They followed and taught their family the most righteous way to live life: ”Serve the Needy and the Poor”. This is evident from their everyday life. They had immense dedication in encouraging and supporting young men who undergo priest training, generosity in supporting scholars, poets and literates, and also providing financial support for their publications. Their kindness and support in building new temples for worship and satras for the needy , shows only a glimpse of their work and vision.
Late. Hari Krishna, grandson of Late Sri. Dasharatha Ramaiah had always taken pride in following the foot steps of his grand father and enrich his principles and values. Hari Krishna’s never ending enthusiasm and dedication to help people in trouble and need, truly resembles the vision set by the pioneer of the Dasharatha family, Late Sri. Dasharatha Ramaiah.
It’s very unfortunate that Hari Krishna left us at a very younger age, leaving behind his vision unfulfilled, but his life itself is a learning lesson for us.
The vision of all the above three family member’s life has inspired the entire family to start a Non-Profit Organization and work on the things that they were not able to complete during their Life-Time. This Foundation is a sincere effort to propagate the values and beliefs, which Dasharatha family has always held up to. The main objective of this Foundation is to support the needy and help in the development of rural/interior areas of India in all possible ways.
