WHO WE ARE
Dasharatha Memorial Foundation is a NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION established in 2003 in the memory of three of our beloved family members – Smt. & Sri Swayampakala Dasharatha Ramaiah and Kamalamma and Chiranjeevi Swayampakala Dasharatha Hari Krishna, all of whose sudden and untimely demise has left us with shock and intense grief.
What we do
Our goal is to SERVE THE NEEDY by all possible means. To reach our goal, we concentrate on the following activities:
- Support children from financially and/or socially underprivileged classes towards their education: Dasharatha Memorial Foundation Scholarships
- Discover the hidden talents of students by encouraging them to take part in co-curricular activities like Quiz, Elocution, Essay-writing, Painting etc….!): Hari Krishna Memorial Annual Competitions
- Recognize and inspire the best teachers of the area and felicitate them for their dedication, diligence, efforts, service to the community: Sri. Aravind Sharma Memorial Best Teacher Award
- Support the public school system in the developing regions by providing the necessary infrastructure: Sri. Aravind Sharma Memorial - Support A School.
- Conduct food donation camps for poor and/or homeless people (in Miryalaguda, AP, India and Charlotte, NC, USA): Dasharatha Memorial Foundation Food Donation Drive
